The Universe Speaks

Serendipity! Literally as soon as I arrived to work today, I was greeted with free coffee from Audible. Leaving Whole Foods so disappointed with my hot bar purchase, I turned the corner and heard the beautiful words, “free coffee, free hot chocolate!” being shouted into the air. It was like music to my ears. Of course I turned down the useless hot chocolate and went for the coffee. I asked the reason for the occasion. The young lady standing in front of the truck told me they’re trying to get people to sign up for Audible. The gag was I already had an Audible account but I took the coffee anyway and made my way to the cream and sugar. If I have to be honest here, the coffee was nasty. It made me smile though nonetheless because it showed me that the Universe was listening to me.
